Paradise and the Price of Time
Last week, I watched the movie Paradise on Netflix.
At the beginning of the movie, we see a salesman fromt the company Aeon giving a presentation to immigrant people, explaining the benefits of selling some years of their lives. On one side, we see a powerfull company, on the side we see poor families. These people just want a better life in the future and hope to improve their living conditions. Before that, we also see the salesman at the company being recognized as the top salesman.
Images Netflix / IMDb.However, Max's life changes drastically after a fire accident in his luxurious apartment destroys all his belongings and furniture. At this moment, he discovers secrets about his wife's finances with the bank.
Images Netflix / IMDb.At this point, everything changes when Max starts to uncover more information about the company and its CEO. From then on, the movie has many plot twists.
